Our hearts have been breaking as we watch the news of the bushfires affecting so much of this gorgeous country of ours.
For the month of January, we’ll donate $1 from every coffee, tea and hot chocolate sold in our Gallery Cafe at Berwick Pharmacy to the @redcrossau .
We have been speaking to pharmacy organisations to look at other ways we can assist, and will keep you posted.

For those families or individuals who need lots of prescription medicines, this is good news.
The Federal Government has lowered the threshold for the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) Safety Net from 1 January 2020. The safety net thresholds have been lowered from:
– $390.00 to $316.80 for concessional patients
– $1550.70 to $1486.80 for general patients
Yep, we are still here over the festive season, apart from Christmas Day and New Year’s Day when we are closed.
Big thanks to all our team who come to work, smiling, to help our community.
If you think Christmas bon bons are boring, think again.

🥂 Christmas party fun 🥂
Thank you once again to every single person who helps us look after our community.
What a privilege for us to work with such an amazing group of people.
Just a note that we will be closing early at 7pm on Friday 6th December.
Our team works incredibly hard all year, even on public holidays, so we are taking the night off to celebrate.
We will be back on board on Saturday.
Congratulations to Rachel, who has just passed her dispensary technician course!
Rach has been studying whilst working with us, and raising two young kids. She’s one of those people who can juggle a million balls, and still ask how other people are, whilst continuing to smile.
Well done Rach. We know how hard you’ve worked, and we love that you’ve continued to strive for more, even after more than a decade of working with us!
Pete has been at Eden Rise Pharmacy from the day it opened (actually, even before!) so if you have a question, he’s generally your guy.
Pete loves the wide variety of people that come through the pharmacy. He’s got three kids aged between 4 and 10, so he loves being able to help parents, and provide advice and reassurance to brand new parents who can often, understandably, be nervous or worried.
If Pete wasn’t a pharmacist, he’d likely be working in IT, and his IT skills definitely come in handy when there are issues with the computers!
Otherwise, Pete loves reading biographies, and watching Top Gear UK (the original series, of course), the new series of The Crown, or his all-time favourite movie, Back to the Future.
Pete – we love your dedication and hard work. You never stop trying to do the best for your patients, and you’ve formed real relationships with them.
